Completely Ridiculous Halloween Costumes

Let's face it, Halloween does not have to be all about being spooky and scaring your friends. Some people just want to have a fun time. The goal for many people is to find the most ridiculous Halloween costume ever and be foolish. After all, Halloween is a good time of year for fun. If having a good time includes dressing in the most ridiculous Halloween costume you can find, more power to you.
While on your quest to be totally ridiculous this Halloween, you might want some ideas for awesome Halloween costumes. There are plenty of fun options out there. With so many wacky costumes to choose from, your only problem will be deciding on just one. If you can manage to attend more than one Halloween event this year, you should probably invest in more than just one funny Halloween costume. After all, Halloween only comes once a year, but you can attempt to look foolish for more than just one night.
The Deviled Egg
One of my favorite most ridiculous Halloween costumes is the Deviled Egg. Of course, everyone loves to eat a tasty deviled egg. But what could be more funny than an egg costume with devil horns? Yes, it is a true deviled egg!
This costume started to become popular a few years ago, and it still never gets old. When I go to a Halloween event and see a Deviled Egg costume, I still laugh like I've never seen it before. This one is a Halloween favorite.
Man-Eating Shark
Poor sharks have certainly been earning a nasty reputation recently. Sharks normally do not attack people in the water unless provoked, but every now and then, a shark with a poor attitude comes along and ruins it for the rest of them. What better way to celebrate Halloween with a somewhat violent Man-Eating Shark costume this Halloween?
I am not even going to pretend this costume looks comfortable, but hey, it sure is hilarious! If you are looking for something a little different, and using your arms is not a priority this Halloween, I recommend the Man-Eating Shark costume for this year.
Double Occupancy Costume
Another weird Halloween costume for this year is the Funny Double Occupany Costume. Even if you can't find a date for the Halloween party, at least you know you are leaving with... umm... someone. I can't imagine this would be a terribly comfortable costume, but at least you can use your arms with this one. What you decide to do with your arms... well, I don't even want to know.
The Burger King
As previously stated in a different hub, I believe the Burger King costume is one of the funniest Halloween costumes you are going to see this year. This costume is perfect for this year since the Burger King is retiring soon. You do not want to miss out on the opportunity to be King for a day. If you can get some wacky friends to dress like Colonel Sanders, the Wendy's Girl, and Ronald McDonald, you are really in for a fun evening.
Elvis Presley
Did someone say the King? No, not the Burger King! Someone needs to dress like the real king - The King of Rock N Roll! What better way to celebrate Halloween than to dress like Elvis Presley? This is a time-honored classic Halloween costume. You will be the envy of all your friends when you dress like the King.
Don't forget, Elvis went through many stages. Don't just aim for the white jump suit Elvis look. You can really step it up and look like young Elvis Presley for Halloween. Even better, you and a group of your friends can dress up like the many stages of Elvis this year for Halloween. You are bound to be a big hit at the Halloween party!
Miss Charge It
For you ladies that love to shop, the Miss Charge It Halloween costume is perfect for you. Not only can you complete the entire look on your own by looking fashionable and carrying your own shopping bags, the price is a real bargain at only $29.99! What shopper does not want a great bargain like that?
Chick Magnet
For you overly confident guys, why not show off how hot you are by dressing as a Chick Magnet this year for Halloween? Yes, nothing says, "Come here, ladies" more than a giant magnet with some chicks attached to it. I am sure the ladies will be impressed. Even if they are not impressed, the costume is reasonably priced and if you don't want to get too dressed up, there is really very little effort required for a Chick Magnet costume.
Tacky Tourists
Everyone loves to go on vacation. You get to go to a different place and relax. Some tourists are so obvious with their maps and fanny packs. Why not become a totally tacky tourist this Halloween? It is like being on vacation, except without all that annoying planning and packing. You can just put on this tacky tourist outfit and stroll down the street to any Halloween party. You'll be the life of the party anyone you go.
Whoopie Cushion
Don't forget that kids like to dress in totally ridiculous Halloween costumes, as well. If you are looking for the perfect ridiculous Halloween costume for junior, check out this Whoopie Cushion outfit. The great thing about this costume is your child can have tons of beans for dinner and whatever sounds may exit his or her body will be totally acceptable with this Whoopie Cushion costume. Just make sure no one tries to sit on your child. That is when the fun ends!
Bun in the Oven
For you pregnant ladies that want to add a little humor to your Halloween this year, don't miss out on the opportunity to wear the Bun in the Oven Funny Halloween costume. You will be the talk of the Halloween party. This is an even better gag if you are not pregnant, but would like to confuse all your family and friends. I personally would not recommend it, but hey, who am I to judge?
Plug and Socket
Last but not least, couples often like to dress as a pair for Halloween. Apparently, one of the most popular wacky Halloween costumes for this year is the Plug and Socket Couple Halloween costume. This costume walks a fine line on the edges of bad taste, so you definitely do not want to wear this to a church costume party, but it is humorous in a somewhat offensive way. So if you are a couple and you are looking for a funny Halloween costume idea, you might want to try the Plug and Socket costume.

Nice one Jeannie, and you beat me to it! My next hub was going to feature the plug and socket costumes, I think they are great :-)
Cloverleaf.
Martha Stewart gave directions to creating that costume in her 1999 Halloween issue. I made the ghost for my daughter and the Raven for me from that issue. I love Halloween. Last year I had more costume changes than a Lady Gaga concert!
I rarely dressed up as something scary. I didn't dress up in funny costumes either though like in this hub. However, I did dress up one year as charlie Chaplin.
These are great! The costumes my friends and I have for Halloween are usually not so elaborate or funny as these.
Just popping up in my head... How about plankton costume?... It's a green-capsul shaped with an eye in the center... weird enough I guess... Uh, don't forget about the eyelash, too... ;-P
But, to be honest, Plug and Socket? That's great idea...
Nice hub! Thumbs up!
Thanks for sharing :-)
These are really cool costumes. I saw a pumpkin costume the other day. I remember when I was a kid, my mother being a great seamstress, made me and my brother each a pumpkin costume. We wore them to a party, and they were so bulky, that we kept running into the other kids there.
I was thinking of making some deviled eggs but never actually thought of getting into one! Funny hub!
Cute ideas for someone looking for something just a little different in their Halloween costume.
I adore Halloween. These costumes are pretty creative. I'm thinking of going as a pig in a blanket. Ha Ha.
Very unique costumes, but my favorites are the deviled egg and the plug and socket couples costume. Very nice hub.

Once I saw a girl with a see through umbrella that had clear plastic things hanging down from it and she was a Jellyfish! Cool, huh?
